WEEK 1: Dino-Tastic
June 17 - 21

Come explore MOSH and learn what it was like to live with dinosaurs. Campers will explore all types of prehistoric creatures and get a chance to enjoy and interact with our new summer exhibit, Be the Dinosaur.
Friday Field Trip: Campers will also get to see some live reptiles as we travel to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm this week.
WEEK 2: Loco LEGO Mania

Who is up to the LEGO challenge? Can you build the tallest tower or the strongest bridge? Any kid who loves LEGOs will have a great time in this camp. Our 4th and 5th graders will spend the week building and programming their own LEGO robots.
Friday Field Trip: After spending all week working on LEGOs indoors, we’ll expend some energy at a fun indoor kid’s gym.
WEEK 3: Beyond Bridges
July 1 - 3

Jacksonville is known as “the city of seven bridges” and this week we will explore the art and science of bridges. Campers will learn about the components of bridge design and construction. This short week culminates with the campers designing and building their own bridges!
There is no camp on Thursday or Friday of this week in observance of Independence Day.
WEEK 4: Salty Sea Science
July 8 - 12

Dive into the world that lies beneath the ocean waves! Campers will learn about many types of ocean life that call Florida home and get up close and personal with our Atlantic Tales exhibit and MOSH’s sea creatures.
Friday Field Trip: Campers will get their hands dirty with marine wildlife by visiting a local coastal estuary.
WEEK 5: Viva Florida!
July 15 - 19

In 1513, Ponce De Leon was the first European settler to land in what is now our home state of Florida. In this week of camp, we will celebrate 500 years of Florida's history and go back in time to discuss how early Florida Settlers lived.
Friday Field Trip: Campers will get to see Florida history in real life by taking a trip to the Castillo De San Marcos in St. Augustine.
WEEK 6: Loco LEGO Mania II
July 22 - 26

Back by popular demand, a second week of LEGO fun will keep campers building and creating. 4th and 5th graders will design and build LEGO Robots.
Friday Field Trip: Campers will also burn some energy on our trip to Pump it UP indoor bounce gym!
WEEK 7: MOSH Jams!
July 29 - August 2

Come and explore the science of sound with MOSH and the Cathedral Arts Project! We will discuss the intricate vocals, rhythms and sounds that make music fun to listen to. This week we will explore the physical properties of sound waves, examine and create instruments and make some great music.
Friday Field Trip: This week will also include a trip to a local musical performance for campers to enjoy.
WEEK 8: Space Masters
August 5 - 9
Members: $200 | Non-Members: $220

Hop on board for an all expenses paid trip to outer space (space suit not required). Campers will learn about everything in our galaxy and beyond: from the sun and solar system, to space stations and NASA telescopes. We will spend time in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium and the MOSH’s mobile Planetarium studying the sky.
Friday Field Trip: All MOSH Campers will take a day long trip to Kennedy Space Center!

Extended care is available from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day of camp. Campers will gather in the conference room, play games, and watch a G-rated movie.
