Experience nature’s fury as all of her powerful forces are unleashed. You’ll be thrown into the sea to ride out a massive hurricane, swept into the massive funnel cloud of a violent tornado, and launched into the heart of a gigantic solar flare.

Florida Naturalist’s Center
Find out how animals have adapted to the unique environments of Northeast Florida as a MOSH Naturalist highlights one of the species of wildlife that calls our state home.

Take a guided tour of the current night sky with a MOSH Planetarium Educator.
3 PM THE ZULA PATROL: DOWN TO EARTH
Bryan-Gooding Planetarium
While on a routine fossil hunting expedition, the Zula Patrol discovers that someone’s been dumping trash in Earth’s prehistoric past! On their mission to catch the culprit, they learn all about the formation and development of Earth and its inhabitants.
3 PM DAILY ANIMAL ENCOUNTER — COURTYARD ADVENTURE
Hixon Native Plant Courtyard
Explore the Hixon Native Plant Courtyard and pond and learn more about plants and animals native to Northeast Florida.

4 PM LEGENDS OF THE NIGHT SKY: PERSEUS AND ANDROMEDA
Bryan-Gooding Planetarium
Experience mythology, geography and astronomy in way you have never seen before. This program is ideal for family audiences and younger viewers.
4 PM SCIENCE & HISTORY BOAT TOUR
Friendship Fountain Park Boat Docks (Outside Museum)
Ahoy Jacksonville! MOSH has teamed up with the St. Johns River Taxi to host Science & History River Tours every Saturday afternoon! Learn all about the history of Jacksonville and the significance the river has played in our community over time. Thanks to JAX Chamber for sponsoring these tours! Boats leave at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Admission $15 adults and $12 children.
5 PM TOUR OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM
Bryan-Gooding Planetarium
This live interactive program explores our solar system. From the planets to the sun and from comets to asteroids, we will embark on a journey of exploration and discovery.
