Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated

08.30.24 – 02.02.25

About the Exhibition

Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated (LEDI) is a multimedia exhibition incorporating art, music, and animations that reimagines the lives and dreams of young girls and women murdered in the Holocaust. Each painting is situated next to a historical photograph, and has a complete audio guide with music and artists perspectives that provides insight into the story of each individual. The experience highlights the events of the past in order to build empathy and compassion, combat hatred and antisemitism, and create a brighter future for our world.

LEDI is a traveling exhibition that brings educational programming into schools and museums to promote strengthening communities and building empathy for other individuals. It is sponsored and produced by the Dr. David M. Milch Foundation.
