MOSH is excited to continue to offer interactive, inquiry-based learning for your student in a new way, through our Homeschool Academy! MOSH’s Homeschool Academy meets every other week for 3 total sessions, with each class building on lessons learned in the previous meeting. Simultaneous classes are offered for learners aged 5-8, 9-12, and 13-16 and parents are welcome to drop-off their child.
Fall Session: Into the Universe
Dates: October 12, October 26 & November 9
Program Times: 1 – 4 p.m.
Cost per class: $20 per student; $12 per adult
“What can we find beyond the edge of the galaxy? How do engineers test and design rockets? Have humans always looked towards the stars? MOSH Homeschool Academy students will answer these questions and more as they explore space from the safety and comfort of the Museum.”
Enjoy MOSH at your own pace during MOSH’s newest program for Homeschool Families: Takeover Days! During MOSH Takeover Days, the Museum will be open only to homeschool families and co-ops. Enjoy reduced capacity for exploring exhibits, private shows in the JEA Science Theater and Bryan-Gooding Planetarium, animal encounters, and activity stations throughout the Museum, for an all-inclusive ticket cost.

Bring MOSH learning to you – wherever your student is! Join our Education team for an interactive, 45-minute learning session held over Zoom. Registrants will be contacted with a Zoom link in advance.

Discover what the Museum holds behind the scenes, as our Educators take you on a tour through MOSH’s Collections highlighting unique objects rarely seen by our visitors!
- Out of this World
December 15 – 3 p.m.Join our Planetarium Educators as they take you on a journey through our solar system and beyond!
Registration & Program Guidelines
In order to secure spots for a particular program, payment must be made before the day of the program. Once a program is sold out, no further tickets will be available for purchase online or in person. Late registration (the day of) can only be done in person, and tickets cannot be guaranteed.
Participants arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be admitted into the program. Refunds or credits will not be given to late or no-show groups.
