A scientific guide to the first day of fall!
The Autumnal Equinox marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall in the Northern Hemisphere. On September 23, the sun will shine directly on the equator making the length of day and night nearly equal. Leave it to our space gurus in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium to shed light on the science behind this annual celestial phenomenon.
