The kitchen and the grocery store are ideal places to learn. Using the trusted educational tools of Sesame Street’s and their Healthy Eating “Food for Thought” as a guide, students will engage in lessons about “anytime” and “sometime” foods, learn about shopping on a budget, and explore recipes to make for the whole family. Parents and students will know how and where to expand their learning outside the classroom.
Find out what homeschool programing is happening this month on our Homeschools page.
Homeschool programs are reserved for homeschooling families and groups only. Programs are appropriate for elementary-aged students, however, all ages are welcome to attend. Please be aware that although the age range of participants will vary widely, we will do our best to accommodate all levels of students.
Homeschool programs will consist of one to two 45-minute interactive sessions that cover a range of topics (see Homeschools page). All groups will have time to explore the museum one hour before it opens to the public and will also have time after programs to explore museum exhibits.
Doors open at 9 a.m., program begins at 10 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
