Science on Tap – JAX is a monthly science speaker series creating deeper conversation and understanding of topics relevant to the Jacksonville community.

Dr. Amber Barnes from the University of North Florida will discuss how parasites can impact both human and animal hosts. Her lab’s One Health approach investigates the intersections of water, sanitation, hygiene, and disease transmission.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-talk mix and mingle. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. A question and answer session will be held following the talk.
