Demonstration: Focusing in on your first telescope

Are you thinking about getting someone one step closer to the stars for the Holidays? Join the Northeast Florida Astronomical Society (NEFAS) right here at MOSH on Saturday, November 12, from 12 – 4 p.m. They will have tabletop demonstrations, plenty of information, and guidance for MOSH guests to learn about purchasing an entry-level telescope for yourself or someone as a gift for the holidays.

At 1:15 join them in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium for a presentation covering the basics of buying a beginner scope and showing off some of their own work.

Please purchase a general admission ticket to attend the free telescope demonstration.

The demonstration will take place on the second floor in the Space Science Gallery.
