About LEDI
The LEDI exhibition features the stories of young women and girls who were victims of the Holocaust. Artist Lauren Bergman, using archival photographs of these women, has reimagined their lives and dreams in portraits that restore dignity, peace, and hope. Each narrative is accompanied by an original music score from composer Ella Milch-Sheriff. Together, these stories serve as not only an expression for healing and education, but they also provide a framework to discuss the importance of communities working together against hate and intolerance of any kind in today’s society. LEDI is sponsored by the Dr. David M. Milch Foundation and is on exhibition at MOSH through February 2, 2025.
This event is part of the MOSH Passport Series, which seeks to bring communities closer together around common objectives to make Jacksonville and Northeast Florida a better place for everyone to live and work. The 2024-2025 Passport Series is sponsored, in part, by the Together Strong Community Fund of Jacksonville.
