Launch your Campers into Winter Break at MOSH! Keep your kids engaged over the holidays with Winter Discovery Camps—a combination of education and entertainment. MOSH educators inspire curiosity and encourage exploration with STEM-based activities around the Museum. Winter Discovery Camp will be held December 20 – January 3 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m for K – 5th Grade. MOSH’s education department has organized fun topics and activities for each Camp theme. Camps are designed to provide a valuable and memorable experience for students to carry with them in life. It’s our goal to provide a safe, fun and educational space for Campers. Seats are limited. All Winter Camp classes have a maximum of 15 students. Enrollment is now open. See Camp themes and dates below.
Camp time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. (Drop off from 8:30 – 9 a.m. & Pick up from 3 – 3:30 p.m.
Extended Camp Day: 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. & 3:30 – 5 p.m.
Extended care is available for $15 per day. Campers registered for Extended Care may be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 5 p.m.

Galactic Encounters

Things are starting to get a little strange around MOSH, and some would even say out of this world! Join MOSH on a journey to a galaxy far, far away as we discover the secrets and the science of the Force! Choose a side you must, young Padawan. Learn all things space! Star Wars fans will love this galactic camp. Activities include Sphero galaxy maze, Star Wars arts and crafts and creating lightsabers.

MOSH’s Mini School of Magic

Fans of Harry Potter enroll in the most magical school in the land! Mix up an assortment of odd potions, study owls and other curious creatures, and use illusion and science to levitate and make things disappear! Explore fun topics like herbology, potions, and magical creatures and more.

Myths, Monsters, and Legends
$90 for MOSH Members/ $100 for Non-Members
Why have we told some stories for thousands of years, and what stories of today will we tell in the future? Learn the science and history behind myths, monsters, and legends such as the Loch Ness Monster, the Kraken, and more! Campers will examine constellations, create their own MOSH legends and monsters, and develop boats to withstand the MOSH Kraken!
