MOSH To Reopen June 15 With Dinosaurs Around the World Exhibition

Embark on a globetrotting expedition around the world to discover the Age of Reptiles!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 9, 2020) The Museum of Science & History (MOSH) is officially reopening to the public on Monday, June 15. We welcome guests back to the Museum with the debut of our summer traveling exhibition, Dinosaurs Around the World. The exhibition takes you back in time on a dinosaur adventure and a tour of Earth before the continents of today existed. Discover how tectonic plates, land bridges and volcanic activity allowed dinosaurs to travel the world, leaving each continent with its own unique dinosaur inhabitants. With advanced animatronics, a multi-layered narrative, fossils, authentic casts and cutting-edge research you’ll experience the Age of Reptiles as it comes to life!

Dinosaurs Around the World is on display through Oct. 4, 2020, and is included with Museum admission. To help limit the number of guests in the Museum each day and to maintain appropriate social distancing, we are implementing a timed ticketing process. Ticket sales and member reservations are online only at https://themosh.org/ and are required for all guests. Guests can purchase timed tickets for each member of their party for the following times: 10 a.m., 10:10 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:50 p.m., 1 p.m., 1:10 p.m., 1:20 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 3:40 p.m. 3:50 p.m. and 4 p.m.

“A special thank you to the community for all your support these last few months. We are excited to reopen to the public welcoming curious minds back to the Museum and what better way to do that than with a fan favorite, a Dinosaur exhibition,” said Maria Hane, president of MOSH. “MOSH continues the mission of inspiring the joy of lifelong learning by bringing to life the sciences and regional history while operating according to recommended safety protocols and guidelines.”

Upon visiting MOSH, guests will see changes and new safety protocols. These changes and protocols are in line with guidelines and requirements set by government and public health agencies. All guests are required to wear masks when visiting the Museum. We have single-use masks available for purchase for $1 at the Museum. We encourage all guests to follow the designated path and directional signage throughout the Museum, practice social distancing and to utilize hand sanitation stations throughout the Museum. Due to the current regulations, some Museum experiences may be temporarily closed or modified to protect the safety of our guests and staff.
