Planetarium Night Live: Thirteen Point Eight

Aug 16 at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

The Bryan-Gooding Planetarium at MOSH presents Planetarium Night Live, a program that allows you to expand your mind and explore the cosmos through space simulations, storytelling, interactive demonstrations, and immersive, live-narrated video projection under the Planetarium’s 60-foot dome. New insights await!

Thirteen Point Eight
The age of the Universe is 13.8 billion years old. Seems like an amazing claim. Then again, humans are capable of amazing insight. How can we know its age so precisely? What’s the evidence leading us to this number? Is it as solid a result as it’s made out to be? Join us in the  Planetarium to investigate one of the most astounding assertions humans have ever made about anything.

Doors to the Museum open at 6:30 PM. Show starts at 7 PM.

*Suggested for ages 13+

$10 for Museum Members  |  $12 Non-Members
