Everything you need to know about STEAM Life Academy @ MOSH

The Museum of Science & History is thrilled to launch a brand new program to inspire the joy of learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) through weekly courses on a wide array of topics for students ages 5 – 17. STEAM Life Academy @ MOSH (S.L.A.M.) is a themed program consisting of four weekly lessons offered each month during the school year (September – April).

MOSH offers monthly modules for two cohorts (Elementary & Middle), with each module consisting of four lessons offered on consecutive Wednesdays during the school year.

Your Teacher Says:

“S.L.A.M. (STEAM Life Academy @ MOSH) is an exciting new initiative that provides students (K-8th grade) the opportunity to investigate, design, test, create and collaborate on STEAM topics. This program differs from our other programs as it is an in-depth informal classroom experience focusing on hands-on learning with activities and experiments corresponding to a specific STEAM topic. We offer S.L.A.M. every Wednesday from 3 – 5 p.m., allowing both our homeschool and public school students to participate together. This is a unique opportunity for students to discover new interests and make new connections!”
– Education Coordinator, Katie Connell
